How WooCommerce Split Payments Works
Split Payments adds an option to the WooCommerce checkout that lets a customer divide the order total into two payments. Each payment is processed separately using the payment methods already available on your store.
1. Split the purchase
The customer chooses Split Payments at checkout and decides how much to apply to each payment.
2. Make or share the first payment
The first payment can be completed immediately or the secure payment link can be shared with someone else. Once it’s paid, the remaining payment is ready to complete or share..
3. Complete the order
The remaining balance is paid using an available payment method, and WooCommerce keeps both payments connected to the original purchase.
Use two cards, two different payment methods, two different payers, or create the order and let others make the payments.
