Custom, intranet application to manage the King’s Hawaiian Bakery, including submitting and processing orders from the retail stores through driver pickup and delivery to those stores.
King’s Hawaiian Bakery recently hired me to re-build their in-house bakery management system, previously written, for reasons nobody seems to know, in WordPress.
Part of this project included porting all the data from WordPress to the new, custom database structure. Luckily I was able to design the tables myself and, I did so with a plan already in place for the data transfer.
The mission was to duplicate the existing application functions in an entirely custom framework with minimal reliance on external libraries. They wanted something that would require little to no maintenance for as long as possible.
